StoryTalk uses Anthropic's Claude AI to generate responses. When you send a message:

• We do not store your conversations on our servers — they exist only in your browser and are transmitted to Anthropic for real-time processing

5. Data Storage and Security

Local storage: Your conversation history is stored in your browser's localStorage. This means:

• Your conversations stay on your device
• Clearing your browser data will delete your conversation history
• We cannot recover conversations if you clear your browser data
• Different browsers or devices will have separate conversation histories

Security measures: We use HTTPS encryption for all data in transit. Our application is hosted on Fly.io with industry-standard security practices.

6. Data Retention

• Conversation content: Stored locally in your browser until you clear it. We do not retain copies on our servers.
• Analytics data: Retained for up to 12 months for service improvement purposes.
• Support communications: Retained as needed for ongoing support and legal compliance.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data stored in your browser's localStorage
• Delete: Clear your conversation history by clearing your browser data or using in-app controls
• Portability: Export your conversation history (feature coming soon)
• Withdraw consent: Stop using the Service at any time

StoryTalk is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us immediately.
